Question Best mobile phone for 10 year old

My daughter wants a phone for Christmas, looking to get her maybe a Samsung s4 mini or Core prime. Whats the best on the market which is cheap. Would preferably like to have a flash and front facing camera.

it a tough one as I dont really have a budget but dont want to spend too much on a first phone.

Just want to see whats around and whats worth it.

Probably will need to be under 5" screen as its a bit big

I'd chase down the Motorola Moto G 3rd gen, but make sure its the 16GB/2GB model.

about £160 to £180.

tough, reliable, shove a big memory card, job done.

I was going to suggest the Sony Z3 compact as its just been replaced, but they are still wanting stupid money for them.

Apple, as most of her friends will have one, plus facetime is free to all apple users

If not an iPhone 4/4S for the Facetime capability, then the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime is a great phone.

Plus they've got their own version of Facetime or Skype can soon be installed!

Our 12 year old neice has one and it's a well spec'd phone for c£100!
