Best method to connect these devices?

Hi folks,

Probably a very rookie question here but wanted to make 100% sure before ordering cables etc. Any help much appreciated.

I'm putting together a basic home cinema. Essentially, in case I am missing something obvious, I just want to know what the best way of hooking up the following devices would be for simplicity, or if it is necessary to get a receiver.

Devices are as follows:

  1. Acer H6510BD Projector (http://www.notebookcheck.net/fileadmin/Notebooks/Sonstiges/ZUBEHOER/Acer_H6510BD/Acer_H6510BD_23.jpg)
  2. Sony HT-XT1 Soundbase (http://static1.squarespace.com/stat...0c892679f1dece33bacbf9d22081.png?format=2500w)
  3. XBox One (http://media2.s-nbcnews.com/j/strea...-xbox-one-back-ports.nbcnews-ux-2880-1000.jpg)
  4. Chromecast (via projector)
As far as I can tell, there is no silver bullet solution. I would have to link the Xbox to the soundbase via optical for audio, and HDMI to the projector for video. For the Chromecast, would I be able to run a simple audio cable from projector to soundbase?

Connect the Xbox One and Chromecast to the Soundbase via it's HDMI Inputs - and then the Soundbase HDMI Output to the Projector HDMI Input.
