Best LCD for my budget

Prominent Member
I've been researching Plasma TV's lately but my other half has now convinced me that we should be getting an LCD TV. Having done no research, I'd like a little head-start.

Can you guys give me some recommendations as to the best TV I can get around the £1200 mark?

32"-37" would suffice.

37" will suffice for £1200? I'm sure it will! :p

Anyway, current favourites on here, and a good place to start:

Samsung LE32R41BD
Sony KDLS32A12 - V version also recommended but don't know if that fits in your budget

Toshiba 32WLT58
Panasonic 32LX500 / 32LX52

I should have also mentioned that it will be connecting to my Sky+ box and Sanyo DVD Player.

What's the picture like on LCD's from Sky+ these days?

Should I go for the;

Hitachi 32LD7200

or the

Samsung LE32R41B

I know the Hitachi is quite a bit dearer, is it worth the difference?
