Hi all, anyone got tips for a good TV for £2000 max?

tia

What do you want 15, 17, 23, 27, 32, 37, 40, 42, 47" screen etc.
Minimum HDMI inputs?
What are your sources that will be connected?

Hi peoples, I am looking for a 32" to 42" LCD TV with HDMI ports, would also need a few scarts sockets. It doesn't need to have freeview built in. Picture quality is important over features.

Wouldn't mind some help with regards to a HDMI DVD player or Recorder.

Best regards lee

Go for the Sony 40" x series (KDL-40X2000U) it's amazing!

M8 i had a look yesterday at a new model JVC here in Cyprus and it was absolutely mind blowing. It was been fed a high def signal, the model is LT something and is new, 46 inch and full high definition, that is it can play 1080P. The price was around 2400 pounds though :(

After harassing the guys in Richer Sounds the other week I decided on a Sony KDL-40W2000. Had a couple of native 1080 screens out and the 40W2000 had the best picture by far. They put some SD sources on it for me and HD.

You can get it for around 1500 online.

Was reading today that this model is good but one guy had backlight bleeding in the corners.

not good maybe he was just unlucky and got a lemon?

Anyone else have issues with the sony X series?

you can get the 40X for a shade under 2K, I own a 40W and it is absolutely stunning with no problem at all (and no problem with back-light either)
