Best Laptop for £400

    Looking for a Laptop under £400. General use surfing, dvd burning no gaming. Thinking about PACKARD BELL MZ35-216 from currys. Any advice please??

    The Acer is a very good laptop, I've used that exact model. Would have it over a PC World jobbie any day.

    I would not recommend a Packard Bell. Acer is pretty good. Dell seem to have some good offers too.

    Thanks Gent, I've just had a look and I think this could be the one.Seems to get a lot of good reveiws apart from slow start up and could do with a memory upgrade, but hay its £400.
    Nice one!!

    If you can afford another 512mb of RAM to put in there, that's grand. I guess you'll find a brilliant improvement in performance - depending on what you're doing.
