What is THE BEST cable for I-LINK between the PIONEER DVD 868AViS and the PIONEER AX5AiS? Thanks.

I know somebody who has the same components as you and he was very impressed with the improved sound quality when he upgraded from the free supplied iLink cable to a Belkin cable (don't know which one).
I've not heard the system myself, but he was pleased with the upgrade.

Thanks! I don't know much about Belkin. Do you have any further info?

I've tried Belkin and Ixos i-link cables between my AX5i and 757Ai and frankly the differences are very slight, the interface appears much more immune to cable effect than any other.

I've settled with the Belkin as it's construction is superior - better plugs and shielding.

So don't expect a big change in the sound is all I'd say, still for about £15 or so it's worth a try. Picked mine up in the computer section of Comet BTW.

    This is what I'm using.

Great! Thanks. Do you know if they do a 1.0 metre or 0.8 metre?

    Thanks,

    Martin.

    There's a 3 foot (0.9m) version too.
