Don't get the Region 2 version though as it has suffered from savage cuts. I noticed that a two minute fight scene with Doug Quaid has gone completely.

Squirrel God's five hour analysis of the film has been cut to a more manageable thirty seconds and some outtakes provided by the "usual suspects" have been hijacked in retaliation.

Apparently all Accursed Delphi's topless scenes were cut as well.

The alternate ending with Uncle Eric confessing to really being Doug Quaid was quite good though. :)

    ...............And back to reality,

I rather like "The Taking Of Pelham 123" and have fond memories of "NorthSea Hijack".

Yes. "Air Force One" is an evil attack or hijack (pardon the pun!) on our brain cells. :D Can't believe it's from the same dude who made Das Boot.

Mind you, the other Hollywood p!ss he's made, is just as bad.

    JD

PS. Best hijack movie for me, is "Die Hard".

Have to agree it gets a bit cheesey but the ride more than makes up for this problem.

The Taking Of Pelham 123 would be in my top ten favourite films so for hijacking films this is way up there

I'm not sure you're allowed to advertise such "merchandise" on the forums, but before your post gets deleted - how much you selling it for? :D

Since we are on the subject of hijacking: please stop making snide remarks about Doug, this is totally off-topic in this thread.
