I'm just about to buy a Pioneer 436xde and am looking for a new DVD player with a HDMI connection and the upscaling option, I was going for the Denon 1920 but the lip sync problems that have been listed on the site have me a little concerned.
So I suppose it's between the following :-
    Denon 1920
    Samsung 950
    Toshiba 350

Any users of the above players that are happy with their purchase I'd love to hear from, or are there other players that I should consider.
Finally I've read that Component can give a better picture than HDMI, is this correct? I'd rather use HDMI as my 360 will be using the component connections on the Pioneer.

    Thanks,
    Vipers

Out of the two, the Toshiba over the Samsung any day.

The Toshiba looks better over component though, but both connections look absolutely amazing!

If you can still find a Panny S97, I'd go for it.
