best hand holder for Ipad ?

I'm not sure what you mean by "hand holder" but Marware Ecovue case has a hand strap!

No way would I trust that type of strap - friend of mine lost his ipad overboard on a ferry using that type - I still think the Marware Ecovue is a better option for you.

I think your friend could bought some fake or mount it wrong. I read reviews and watch tests where man was waveing his hand all around and everything was just fine. I read the strap is very strong and durable. This rotary disk and fastener is made of ABS which is very tough material. Besides I don't like any covers like this
