Calling all DIYers...
I am trying to stick a strip of carpet to a PVC step. I asked in my local DIY store and was told "no more nails" would be the best bet. I have cut the carpet to size and stuck it down, but even after 60 mins if I apply a decent amount of pressure I can still slide the carpet about to some degree. It says on the tube to wait 24-48 hours for full cure but I am a little concerned that it not going to adhere. It says on the tube not to use with PP or PE, there is some sort of plastic hard foam on the back of the carpet, but I'm not sure what it is.
Can anyone offer any suggestions or should the No More Nail do the job ok?
Thanks.
