Best DVD recorder with Divx/Xvid?

Hi guys, I would be grateful for your suggestions as to a good upscaling progressive scan DVD recorder that supports Divx/Xvid. Optical out would be a bonus, as it would let me connect it to my existing Pioneer home cinema system. (The other option would be to get rid of my pioneer and buy a new home cinema system based around a DVD recorder.)

Quality is important, will pay a reasonable premium for this.
