Best DVD Player under £500?

    As I was angry at my parents £200 Toshiba 100E beating my Pioneer 626D for Picture & Sound Quality by miles i am after a new DVD player!

    What is the best DVD Player that has

    - Great Picture
    - Great DVD Sound
    - Great CD Audio Sound
    - Supports DVD-Audio
    - Plays CDR/CDRW Discs
    - Has Loads of Features
    - Looks Good Externally
    - Good Build Quality
    - Costs Under £500 Modded

    Any Ideas?

    Something I simply dont understand, how can a Toshiba 100E beat my Pioneer 626D for Video and Sound? I was shocked at the difference! HCC gave the Pioneer 626D 5/5 for Sound! Mags liked it so much it got Player of the year!

    Also anyone know how much i could sell a Pioneer 626D for? What would sort of price am i looking at getting rid of it for?

    Is it really worth getting another DVD Player already or should i wait another 6 months down the line?

    I don't like Pioneers - too soft

    I don't like Sonys- too hard too processed(clippy)

    I like Panasonics -just right (but only the ones with RGB).

    I'd go for the Tosh as a budget option over the wharfies and Bushes and what have you. If you like the pic so much just get one man: life is too short.
