    Hi people,

just a quick one, ive been using my xbox as a dvd player up untill now, i want to get a good quality DVD player to run via component into my DENON AVR2805 amp. any suggestions??? hopefully this will get the best out of my sound system as opposed to the XBOX which is ok, but sometimes i get lip sync issues and the sound could be better??

    Any ideas

    Budget is about 100-150

Not sure why you have lip synch issues with the 2805 - you can programme in a delay for each source.

Look for a Denon 2900 either new or second hand. A great component PS image imo.

Will compliment the 2805 well too.

I can't imagine you'll find many Denon 2900 going new or second hand for £100 - £150 yet, but you could pick from a few good machines for that kind of money. I've got a Limit DVDA900SE which I think is excellent for £80 from Play, I bought direct from Limit a year ago for £200. It does PS for PAL and NTSC disk and is multi-region through a handset hack.

There a few threads on here about it and most people are of the same opinion as me, top player for very little cash.
