Hey everyone, currently I have a Panasonic RP62 dvd player, but I doesn't support SVCD's so I plan on upgrading. I'm looking for a progressive scan dvd player within $100-250 price range (w/tax) with full vcd and svcd support. Nice image quality would be good too :) . Sorry to sound so illeterate and stuff, but I don't want to buy anything and regret it later. You guys helped me with that RP62 also. Thx in advance

The RP82 is meant to be one of the best players out there, but hard to find now. Not sure how it copes with SVCDs, but worth investigating just in case it does support them.
