Just got my Panasonic TX32PD50 delivered today. Whats the best DVD to go with it (need a multi region and one that plays DVDR) and how best can i hook it up ? Also im getting Sky+ how should i hook that up. Any idea on some quality cables? Should i use composite or s-video for either or just scart ?

What ever you get must have Component out with progressive scan to get the best quality.
This means that the signal sent to the tv is non interlaced i.e. the entire frame is drawn every time rather then every other line in the frame, Odd then Even. :lesson: Produces a far more solid picture.
I have Sky+ and I understand that the SVideo connection should produce a better picture on a PD50 although I find the RGB scart to be brighter and more saturated.
Perhaps I need to do some tweaking.
