out of that list i would go for the pioneer 868i and the Denon 3910.
If you ever plan to get an external scaler then the pioneer 868i will be a better option as it can output an Interlaced signal via HDMI(same with Arcam units), if you dont plan on getting an external scaler then the 3910 is the better choice. Its pic is just jaw dropping on my PJ once i got it all calibrated.(which you have to do for each different DVD player you use).

Dont forget that arcam also produce some very good DVD players with HDMI as well and would be worth a demo.

    Quality realy
a dedicated external scaler will make quite a difference to pic quality for all your equipment.

Also with HDMI or SDI(a must with SDI) you will need an external scaler as the HDMI output bypasses the faroudja chipset on the Sim2 PJs.(meaning you cant send a direct HDMI(digital) interlaced signal to the PJ, it will first go to a scaler be deinterlaced and then sent as a progressive signal to the PJ).

(so if use the pio868i you have to rely on its deinterlacer not the PJs when you use HDMI, which isnt ideal hence the appeal of an external scaler)

Somthing like the crystillo or lumagen or the soon to come Realta based Scalers/deinterlacers.

Believe me it does make quite a difference with the right kit. Just make sure its all HDCP for the digital signal

Just to make sure you relize you can use the pio 868i with a Sim2 PJ when using HDMI, its just you have to let the pio do the deinterlacing and scaling(if your using a 1:1 map)

Somthing like the DVDO iscan HD+(must be the plus model as this added HDCP)

    Lumagen HD model
or if funds permit the Crystillo VPS 2300.

for cystillo and lumagen scroll down this page

    for DVDO
