DTS:

Pearl Harbour (Bombing scenes) (R1)
Die Hard (All 3) (R1)
T2 Ultimate edition (R1)
Behind enemy lines (R2)
Almost Famous (R2 Bootleg version)
Monsters Inc (R2)
The Mummy Returns (R4)
Gladiator (R2)

Gary

(Please note the (R#) denotes the regions i've watched them on, not which the better mix between region 1/2/4 etc)

Depends what you're after from your 'demo' of DTS but if you want a real system shaking, non-stop workout, you'd could do a lot worse than 'The Fast & The Furious'.

BTW, most pointless (other than for the marketing angle) DTS soundtrack? 'American Beauty'.

Try a few DTS or DD music Dvd's of your favourite band, you will never wanna go back to normal cd's that's for sure.

All the best..........Splice ;)

The Search Option - DTS. A great movie not that easy to get hold of. Will give you system a good work out.

Surprised no one has mentioned Daylight? or Dances with Wolves?

Dances with wolves is really subtle. At the other end of the spectrum you should try Pitch Black (R1)

Both of the above are cracking entertainment and feature great DTS soundtracks... Fast & Furious is often cited as demo material sound wise as it's use of all 5.1 channels is unrelenting.

Also helps if you don't mind hip/hop and nu-metal too much :D

You're not wrong there... although I think the original poster just wanted some DTS demo material, as in, he's not heard those films like that before maybe.

Oddly, for someone who buys and keeps DVDs, I don't really like watching ANY films more than twice or three times.
