Best DLP for under 2k?

Dear All,

Please help, I am seriously considering not waiting for Plasma to catch up and produce cheaper HDMI stuff and go for DLP instead now. I think I am right in understanding that allot of DLP screens support HD now. What is the best one for under 2k and should I get one of these or in your opinion wait, save the money and get a plasma in time to come. I have a rear projection Toshiba now 42" and it doesn't have the best picture. Just wondering how far things have improved from 3 yrs ago with rear projection and if DLP is a serious contender like people say to Plasma.

I need:

Under 2k
42"
any make
DVI or VGA connection
1024 x 768 or more res
slim design
stand to be included in price

Please can you help me with finding the right set.

The tosh does look nice however would prefer something without speakers as I am going to use my own speakers for all output. Do DLP TV's have lots of output connections as I would want to connect my Denon 3805 to it.

Do DLP TV's also do a res of 1024 x 768?

Do they do window within window like the Panasonic Plasma can as that is a very neat trick I would like.

I don't want anything bigger than 42" as I don't have a huge lounge so what do you think guys?
