Heard good things about the Pioneer 575, does this have good divx/xvid performance? is there a better alternative for the same price as the 575 is quite long in the tooth now?

Thanks for the suggestions guys, do these players have no problem playing multiple files on one cd/dvd? any progressive scan options? it's not needed but would be a nice bonus.

I have a Yamada 6600 which I highly reccomend and is only about £70 quid. It plays just about anything and yes it can play multiple files on 1 disk. I burn the entire Band of Brothers series in Mpeg-4 onto 2 DVD-R disks any it works fine.

I must be honest though, I quite like the look of the Pioneer 575. It has progressive scan, component out, SACD and DVD-A as well as DivX. And it got superb reviews.
