After a new camera to replace my Pentax Optio S4. It has to be a better camera with more manual options, a must is a shutter speed option and i would like times of 7-15 seconds preferably since night shots are one of my favourites.

I would prefer SD over anything else since i already have a card! Looking at ultrazooms like the Fuji s5500 and the Panasonic FZ3 for value for money. Anyone got any views on these, the Canon A95 and the Konica Minolta Dimage Z2 and Z10?

    Thanks in advance,

    Alastair

If you can get a Z-3, the lens is astonishing and the camera itself is so light that you can take it anywhere and hold it any way you like with no armache whatsoever. The IS is great and I've got good results indoors and out. Do compare against any of the others if you can.
