Best customer service?

Forgive me if this has been asked before. I did perfom a search and couldn't find any other threads with this topic though.

As some of you may have seen I am having a problem with a local retailer concerning backlight bleed on my TV.

I shopped locally as I thought it would be more convenient but now wish I had bought online. Isn't hindsight wonderful? Just a pity it comes too late!

My dream scenario is to get some money so I can buy another TV and put the 'old' one in my bedroom.

I have been told that John Lewis are very fair and wonder whether this is the case?
What is their policy if a customer reports a fault? Do they send someone to inspect the TV?

Are their any other online retailers who you would recommend for good customer service?

I have come to the conclusion that the guy I got mine from is a miserable, unsympathetic git and I am banging my head against a brick wall with him!:suicide:
Alarm bells should have rang when he told me that all TVs look the same to him!
Also when he installed my TV he put the scart on my PVR in the wrong place!
