Best picture = PC via VGA port in 480 progressive scan. (Use Power strip.

Ideal solution - connect all analogue sources to the PC and use Dscaler to sort out the resolutions.

This may not be practical for you. If not it will depend on what connections your other kit has.

In descending order of quality use:

    VGA
    Component
    SVHS
    composite

Actually I'm not so convinced SVHS offers much if any improvement over composite on this projector.

Where does one get a power strip? I do like people that just glibly quote these products without taking into account some poor farts like me, who can only guess at what they are/do.

I could tell you but why not simply use the search engine. I found it that way and it's not rocket science.

While you're at it, do a search on AVSforum and you'll have a whole load more information on the subject.

I did a general search and only got power surge connector strips.
Now doubt I would find it eventually, but I thought part of the spirit of a forum like this was to guide folk in the right direction. Not to use it as a smug ego trip, but there you go I'm often wrong.

PS please do a search for Powerstrip (one word) on this forum and the US AVSforum. This piece of software deals with complex issues and there is not enough space in one post to discuss them.
