Hi - my Easter project is to set up the new system. I want to maximise the PQ and sound quality and am unsure of what cabling you would recommend??

    I have :

    Pioneer 435 XDE
    Pioneer AX5ai
    Panasonic S97

I assume HDMI to HDMI between DVD and XDE media receiver? :smashin: or :thumbsdow

Any thoughts on the best HDMI cable for around £50?? If I go this route, what about the audio??

Or should I be connecting DVD to Ax5ai, then using i-link to the media receiver??

Slightly off subject, I have an Tag CD30R. Whats the highest quality way of connecting? Use the digital out and let the AX5ai do the conversion??
