My TV has RGB scart but my DVD player has both RGB Scart and Component out.

Would I better connecting RGB to RGB scart or Component to RGB Scart?

Standard RGB and component have a pretty much identical picture. Component has the potential to be better as it can support progressive scan but you need compatible hardware at either end for this to work.

I think that you're best sticking with RGB scart. :)

    I thought as much.

However the player does have progressive and that is one of the options on the Pixel Plus TV (100htz).

If theres not alot in it though, probably stick to RGB. :smashin:

You cannot send componant signals down a scart lead.

I would suggest Going RGB into your TV.
