sky+ rgb scart -> lcd
or
sky+ rgb scart -> js technologies rgb-yuv -> component input on lcd

All depends on the quality of the screen's electronics for converting scart input really ...

On my Panasonic PWD6 while the scart input for RGB is good, it is 'softer' than the result from passing it through a JS technologies RGB/YUV box and then into component inputs on the screen. YMMV but something to consider.

One other thing, does the screen allow for scart video + RCA audio input (and thus allow for using an RGB only non-audio wired scart) or would it expect/require scart video/audio input combined and thus you would be wanting a high quality fully wired scart if you went that route?

Website doesn't give sufficient detail and the manual does not appear to be online for download, best ask them directly before committing if rgb-only scart is an input option you wish to pursue.

as I read that diagram, there's audio inputs with the DVI, audio inputs with the VGA, audio inputs with the svideo/composite and audio inputs with the component, but no audio inputs by/with the scarts, and by the positioning it leads one to believe the inputs are 'twinned' to the nearby video inputs

you'd need the manual itself to determine whether the audio and video can be independently mapped or not ...

downloading in the background now ... yeah they go for £85-100 'gently used' in the FS forum here

gimme a few mins to peruse the manual

sorry, can't say the manual would make me think remapping the audio inputs like that was possible
