    Hi all,

Just looking for some quick advice regarding the best connection available to Sky+. i just recently bought a brand new LCD TV and at the moment I have it connected via scart. Is there a better connection available?

I believ the sky+ system i have has the following possible connections -

    rf lead, s-video, scart, Rs232(?).

    Thanks in advance :smashin:

Connect via RGB scart - make sure your cable can handle this. Select RGB on the sky services menu (picture settings) and select RGB out as Video out. Do the the same for your TV on the input selection.

Quick question to add onto this. I've just had someone connect my Sky+ box via S-Video (audio is going via the Amp). Is this not the best way then? I must admit I'm disappointed with the S-Video picture quality it's giving me, is RGB Scart better then?

It all depends on the display and cable quality. Some displays don't handle RGB signals as good as others and therefore an S-Video signal can appear better. All things being equal RGB should be better than S-Video but not always the case.
