Could someone please tell me which component cable they think are the best?

I'm clueless on this. I have a Sony V32 LCD with a Sony GX210 dvd recorder which I need to connect.

Well IMO you will have trouble beating the Mark Grant component cables that can be found Here without spending silly amounts of money

Having tried the 1694A 3 cable version of the Mark grant 7710A cable against the QED Signature series I can honestly say the QED beats them hands down.
Much better clarity, sharpness and tonal colour. However the crunch is over 3x the price. You did ask what was the best tho' :) It's possible that Nordost's component lead may be even better having seen a s-video dem of one of their cables many years ago.
