Cannot comment on the Sony but if you want pocket size the Canon Ixos 50 is a cracking little 5 Megapixel camera within your budget..

Well thanks for the influx of advise, know not to bother with this forum again, thought the idea was to help each other and offer advise to those who are not so knowlegable about these sort of things.

With a thread title of "Pocket Rocket" it's hardly surprising that people didn't answer. Most probably didn't even bother to read the thread with a title like that.

"Best compact under £250?" or something similar would probably have got a better response.

FWIW I would also recommend the Canon Ixus 50. Bought one a month ago and delighted with it.

My old Ixus 500 still serves me very well. I agree about the thread title, I'd ignored it until now.

    I've changed the title.

Even still it's subjective what's best, and a lazy question. It's better if people do their own research come up with a shortlist and then ask what the pros and cons with their choices

People will get better replies that way

Then why didn't you bother to do a search if you thought that, it only takes a few seconds!!!

You may be new to this forum, but I've never seen a forum that dosn't have a search facility... then you've the cheek to get pissy when nobody answers your lazy ass :nono:

Put a bit of effort into it mate :lesson:

What's confusing is that you went off on one before actually waiting for some advice

You might have been given better replies if you'd have not gone of on one like a kevein and perry.

You shouldn't have bothered editing his post Seany, it just showed how much of a prat he is.

magnole01... go ahead and keep hurling your insults when you don't get your way, I think you'll quickly see how far it gets you here :suicide: :suicide:
