what's the best bits of dvd film that really thrills you?
    e.g.
chapter 7 of Air Force One when the jets fly around air force one..thunderous 5.1 stuff
chapter 27 of Deep Impact.. when the 1st comet impacts earth. Not only it sounds good it looks spectacular!!
Predator ...all the creepy jungle shots...tremendous atmosphere.
And for all the bollywood fans.. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai..chapter 8.. the introduction of Tina (Rani M)..thats how you introduce a babe.

There's plenty more so lets hear from you!!

    Hmm, where do I start?

Mid Air collision in Fight Club
When the Aliens first attack in ID4
Destruction of NY, Paris and Shanghai in Armageddon
Most of T2:UE in DTS inc. THX trailer
Noisy Cricket scene from MiB DTS
The Diva scene in Fifth Element (Shows subtlety and high impact)
The beach scene from SPR DTS
The sand scene from The Mummy
    Most of The Matrix

I won't add any more, why leave no fun for others eh? But they are some of my fave bits

So many to mention, but here's a few that spring to mind:

The T2 UE THX logo - THE best demo sequence
    Plane crash in Fight Club
The opening P.O.V scene in Strange Days
    Club scene in Blade
When the kids walk out of "Arses of fire" in South Park "Dude that was f**kin' sweet!" Sorry, just makes me laugh...

And most recently; The first T-Rex scene in Jurassic Park and the plane crash in Pitch Black.

The death scene in American Psycho - the one where He slays to the sound of Huey Lewis & the News's 'Hip to be square'. Glorious. Or the mad rampaging Chainsaw scene.

    Add these to the lists:

    1) South Park Movie - When Cartman does the "Kyle's Mom's A B***h" song and dance routine; or when Kyle and Stan discover Cartman's mother in a German sex video on the Net! Total Classics!!!

    2) Heat - the oft-mentioned bank robbery that spills out onto the streets.

    3) Crime Story - Michael Mann's stunning 1986 TV Series - the opening sequence of the Pilot Movie (on DVD from Anchor Bay) with Dennis Farina and company sitting in their police car, and are suddenly required to speed off and deal with a restaurant robbery. And all along to a funkier version of the 60's classic tune "Runaway" from Del Shannon! A stunning opening scene for a TV show, that says so much, by doing so little!

Err, can't think of any others at the moment.
