I'm looking to buy a new phone on PAYG and have about £150 to spend. What do you think I should go for? I've looked at the Motorola V3, Samsung E530 and Sony k700. Is there one of those that you would recommend or suggest something else?

    Are you sure - where?

The V3 is a good price at the minute; you can pick it up under £150 with a free bluetooth h/s. I dont particuarly like though (personal preference) the E530 has the works on it - my top choice if you like the look.
K700i was great, bit dated now though

Cheers for the suggestions. Going back to the V3, Motorola are quoting standby time of 12 days, yet reading in a magazine when tested it they got 52 hours. If there are people out there that own it, what sort of standby times are you getting?

The V3 is available for £130 at Argos, and depending on network, the K700 is £75 to £150.

Got a colleague with a V3 - I'll check up on the standby time - he hasn't had any complaints at all with it (all he ever wanted was a bit of bling).

You've got to ask yourself what you want from the phone though. Features - the K700 is better, for looks the V3 is probably one of the best.
