Any good recommendations for AV cable retailers? online or high street
Why not try these they seem pretty cheap to me and i always use them.
i just ordered and received from them, cant complain about the service, just watch as the prices exclude vat and delivery can be £6+ depending how much you buy. I was annoyed after adding stuff to basket then finding out vat was added at checkout
damn, i didn`t realise that VAT was extra, i was going to place an order for £150. Will have to re-consider now.
yes it caught me out too but i had decided on what cables i was going for and ended up just getting them to avoid hassle searching thru more cable retailers. tryng to find out if vat is included and work out delivery costs.
it should be law for all advertised prices to include vat to avoid confusion to the retailers advantage
It is illegal to quote Vat exclusive prices unless you expect your customers to be Vat registered businesses however I don't think that TV Cables are doing that.
If you check the price of a Thor scart lead the web site quotes £17.98 but when you go to check out it will split the costs into goods at £15.30 plus Vat of £2.68
I've ordered a few bits from them , never noticed that VAT had to be added
Apart from the usual amazon and maplin, found cables & leads to be worth a try...
Odd, I see the inclusive price with the exclusive price below.
That's what I have sen when buying in the past as well.
