Hi there, I was just wondering how most peeps are connecting there Sky box to an HDTV. The best two options I can think of are:

RGB Scart into my DVD Recorder then DVD Recorder to TV with Component.

I have also noticed and RGB PC socket on the Sky box and the Tosh has a PC input, anyone tried connecting that way? I would assume the picture to be best that way but I'm not sure.

    Thanks in advance:thumbsup:

The PC socket on the SKY box is a 9pin (not 15 pin VGA) RS232 serial interface which I believe has never been enabled.

It is enabled. You can get plain text (current programme name) from it via a suitable "terminal" link. The Sky "Gnome" uses this. It's useless for anything else.
