what type of cable should i get to get a good picture from my ntl digital box to my pj
Depends what you PJ will accept mate the best route is an RGB> VGA converter or or Scart to RGB component depending on the inputs you have available and which ntl box you have.
thanks for the relpy
i have a hitachi cp-s225 pj with component, rgb 15 pin d socket, s-video and composite socket
my ntl box is a pace box with scart and a rs232dce socket what ever that is
NTL box can output an RGB signal from its scart, so as said above for a coverter: either RGB Scart > VGA or RGB Scart > Component. You can get these from www.tmfsolutions.co.uk
It depends which input you want the cable to use (take up on the PJ) if you have a DVD with component out use VGA if you use the PJ with a PC use component etc one idea is that as most device support RGB an RGB switch like a Quattro can be used to connect multiple devices via RGB the us the converter to send them all (the one you want) to the PJ. Also try JS technologies for the converters.
will look into these options thanks for the replys
