There was a thread here not too long ago on a retailer doing a nokia for £99.99 that is stonking if you can get one at that price. Pace boxes are £99.99 everywhere, too new to be going cheap yet not as well specced as the nokia.
    Hope this helps;)

There are plenty of ITVD boxes going on Ebay at the mo in the £50 range. They can only get cheaper.

    hi
i have tried both the pace and nokia mediamaster f.t.a boxes, the pace is very simple(no teletext or r/f loopthrough, but can output r.g.b,s-video).picture very good.

nokia gives better picture plus scarts, digital audio out, text, upgrade to pay tv, but costs £60 more.
i myself went for the nokia.

The Pace is supposed to provide interactive text by summer 2002 though.... (that's what I read on the web site anyway) - will be via a download.

Personally I'd hunt down one of the Nokia ones, as they're already ready to take cards if and when another pay tv broadcaster starts up. The Pace is upgradable, but will probably cost more in the long run, though if you've no intention of this, the Pace looks pretty good value.
