Hello all

Currently have a Marantz PM7000 amplifier paired to my B&W speakers, but this has recently blown (third time its done this) so I've decided to get rid of it and invest in a new one.
The guy in the shop informs me that the new PM7200 from Marantz is similar but more powerful (is this true) and will keep the sound 'exciting'.
I'd rather not go for another Marantz because it took 12 weeks last time I sent it off to be fixed.
So I'm thinking of the NAD C370, but the guy in the shop told me that this has a warm sound (as does the B&W's) so this might produce a sound lacking in excitement and treble. Is this true?
So if anyone has any suggestions for similar powered amps (pm7000 is 95wpc i belive) at a similar price range that would not produce a sound lacking in excitement when combined with B&W 602S3s, it would be much appreciated!
Many thanks

You could try Rotel, Cyrus and Roksan depending upon your budget.

The only real way is to demo what ever your looking at before you buy though even if it means akign your speakers and cables to the demo room.
