Can anyone point me towards the best AGP card for watching HD TV and Bluray films?. I have an old Athlon Barton 3.2 set up and I am hoping with a new card I will be able to watch HD. What would also be good is if the card had HDMI out.

Regards.

A New card would be good, but I think watching HD movies will use up Alot of Cpu Usage. I would say make a small upgrade to a dual Core Cpu at least. But maybe im wrong, and a Card I would suggest for you is the Ati 4670 Agp Series or the 4650 Agp Series . Prices are Approx £72 and £60 respectively from Scan.co.uk if your in the Uk; wil be same if in Eu or most probably cheaper in the U.s :D :)

Thanks for the advice. You are probably right about getting a dual core, but I was hoping not to have to just throw away all my old PC stuff. I think my motherboard will not take a dual core so it then becomes board, cpu, memory and there goes my cheap set up. I will investigate the card. Thanks again
