    Hi All,
I'm looking to get my 6 year old son a TV for Xmas to put in his room.

He'll use it mainly to watch kids programmes on Netflix/Amazon and also to play on his Nintendo Switch....

What would you recommend between 43-50" which has an easy to use Smart Hub (with parental controls) and is good for gaming/watching cartoons?

    Many thanks in advance.

    TCL or LG.
I think every TV has these but some may differ in functionality from others.
Every TV will be good for this, there aren't any TVs with too high input lag in 2017.

So given the priorities the TCL S series fits the bill. LG from a PQ perspective may not be as good and they are more expensive generally but the smart TV is good.
