Best 42"Lcd for £1900 or under....?

    Hi...

    What do you guys consider to be the best at the mo...or the near future ....42" Lcd for £1900 or under....?

    Sony s/v...these put me off as they only have 1 hdmi!
    Samsung
    Toshiba..new ones on their way ...?
    Philips

    Any others....?what do you think?

    Quite simply the Sony 40" 40V2000 is the best LCD under £2000. To say that you're willing to sacrifice picture quality for an extra HDMI socket sounds rediculous to me.

    But.. you may be saved, as the 40V2500 is about to hit the streets (within a couple of weeks apparently). And that should be the same as the 40V2000 but with 2 HDMI. Hence you would then have the ultimate TV under £2000 :clap:

    Hmmm...sharp does look pretty good too....forgot about sharp...as it's been a while since they released new sets...that set themselves apart from the others.
