I'm on the hunt for a new telly - the rules are:
40 or 42 inch
The missus likes things with a small bezel and silver, and as far as possible I'd like to keep her happy
My main concern is image quality. Second it could do with sounding okay (as at the moment I don't have any surround kit)
Much as all the fancy connected smart TV stuff is great, I can't see me using it. I've got Virgin Tivo, PS3 and My laptop (all HDMI) as the inputs and that covers all of the "smart" stuff I think I'll ever need.
I don't have a budget at the moment. I'd rather spend less but if I had to I'd spend up to about £1500, or maybe more if really needed, on it for the right TV (as I plan for it to last).
I do a fair amount of gaming - motion blur and lag are annoying. Though I've got used to it on my current set I'd love for it to be really good.
That's about it.
