Best 32" LCD for under £700

I`ve been been searching for a budget tv for a while now having looked at the Evesham Alqemi SX, various Mirai, AOC & Hannspree models. Now I`m looking at 'brand' names, Toshiba 32WLT68 (£688), Samsung LE32R87BDX (£600) to name a couple.

The tv will initially be used for SD freeview & DVD & PS2 but maybe a few months down the line Sky HD & PS3

Any views on theses sets or more names to throw into the ring (just to confuse me even more!) are greatly appreceiated.

Forgot to mention, I`m not bothered about 1:1 pixel mapping or intergrated freeview, or even good sound (hence the Samsung) just want a clean, crisp picture, minimal smearing & a decent price. Not too much to ask!

The Toshiba models are definitely the best ones to buy at the moment. Get the WLT68 if you want M100 for sports and fast moving action, or you could opt for the C3030D if you want to save a bit of cash.

Personally I reckon it's a no-brainer and the WLT68 is a steal at current prices.

Right, I've narrowed it down to;

panasonic TX-32LXD70 (£649.99)

all from Empiredirect.co.uk with 3 year guarantee for an extra £20, kinda leaning towards the Samsung at the moment, for the styling & price (& the missus likes the style too).

Razz, I'm not too sure if I'd pick the WLT68 over the 3030CD. The 3030CD is the newest model at very low pricing.

Yes I know. Judging by the reviews I've read sofar C3030 is more interesting imo.

I've decided to sit back & wait for more price drops as I've no real NEED for a HDTV at the moment (until I get a PS3 at least).
