Hi,

I need to purchase a 32" LCD TV for the living room this christmas, it will primarily be used to watch SD content via Sky and occasionally freeview HD.

Requirements:

  • 32" LCD/LED
  • Freeview HD
  • Internet TV (BBC iPlayer, YouTube etc)
  • DLNA (To stream video content from PC to TV)
    USB Video playback
I found the following two TV's that match my requirements, but was wondering if someone could shed some light on which one is better especially for SD viewing and perhaps advise on other TV's that may be better suited.

  1. Sony Bravia KDL32EX403U
  2. Samsung LE32C650
I like the sony especially for the price, but seen some poor reviews regarding pixelated and poor picture quality.

Many thanks,
Wajid

Do you watch sport - if so, the Samsung has 100hz motion processing

Yes I do, but this TV will be more used for viewing regular TV like soaps and news etc... so don't think the 100hz will come into affect here.

More interested in better SD quality then anything else really...
