Best 32" HDTV for use with Playstation 3 for under £450

Ok I have a budget of £450. What is THE BEST 32" HD LCD TV to use with my PS3 out there for this price or lower? And where do I get it from?

Dream on :rotfl:

THere is athread at the moment for the Hanspree 32" that looks good.

If you can stretch your budget by £110 to £560 then you could get the Toshiba 32C3030DB from TribalUK as they're selling it for just £558 including (I think) delivery. It's a 1366x768 panel but it accepts a 1080p signal (downscaled obviously) as well as the usual 480p, 576p, 720p and 1080i. It has 2 HDMI ports, component video, 2 RGB SCART and VGA too... all-in-all it sounds like a bit of a bargain really with the only downer being reports that it doesn't handle blacks too well.

I can vouch for the Hanspree. Great value and PS3 looks great connected with an HDMI cable. Bought mine from Directtvs.co.uk (Higher spec model).

Hi
I would go for the Mirai. My son has the DTL-527V200 27" for the Xbox360. The picture is impressive, has decent colours, black level (adjustable backlight) and is free from motion problems. People on the Mirai thread seem equally happy with the 32" HD gaming performance. It is one of the few LCDs that doesn't look washed out colourwise through VGA, and seems to live up to the 6.5ms response time (as long as noise reduction is off). On the thread some people suggest that HDMI looks even better but we have not tried this. Here are some suppliers:

If Mirai produced a new 37" this good at a competitive price I would probably get one to replace my CRT in the lounge (they do a new 42" but it is too big for us).

Hope this helps

Hi Siblades

I have this:

http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/prod...hvd19wcm9kdWN0X3Jldmlld3M=&product_uid=124743

It costs £339 incl. delivery and you can get 9 months interest free credit on it for an addition £15.

I have been using it on PS3 now since launch and it is very good so far. Blueray looks great and it works flawlessly over HDMI.

Only downside is that it does not have VGA, but I've been using my XBox 360 over component and it looks just great.

Maximum input is 1080i.

All in all, very good for the price, and I'd favour this one over any Bush at Argos, that's for sure.

Oh, and you'll have change out of your £450 to get an HD DVD for a 360

Hope it helps.

this is a little over £450 but much better than anything that has been mentioned http://www.digitaldirect.co.uk/products_moreinfo3/index.asp?product_id=12230&AF=13&FF=13

Also worth mentioning the Digimate 32 inch model sold at ww.dabs.com under their "Dabsvalue" range.

Gets a whole load of good reviews and has had a fair few threads on here as well.

Its one I'm looking at a lot, and at £344, or even sub-£300 if you're prepared to get a used model, its a very attractive option.

Argos have the Sharp LC32BT8E for £500. It looks like a good offer, anyone has this TV or knows if it's any good?
