Best 32" HDTV for gaming?

I need to buy a 32" HDTV to use as a monitor. I will be sitting about 4 feet away so I need it to be as sharp as possible. I'll spend anything up to about £550 ish. Hoping to get one with low dpi, good screen uniformity, no backlight bleed, 1080p, low input lag, and good speed for fast moving games.

I could just get a monitor instead but the resolution of 27" monitors is so high, I could never afford a good enough graphics card.

yep, if all you want is a pc monitor then get a 27'' 1080P monitor, there are plenty of them to choose from, it will do a better job then a television for what you want it for...

Well I am looking for something with a very high dpi and high quality so I don't think a 1080p 27" would look that good. I could buy a nice 24" at 1080p though, I was thinking of getting the new Dell u2413.

Dell U2413 Review

But I would then need a TV as well. I hoped I could kill 2 birds with one stone but most of the 32" HDTV reviews I see list various issues. Maybe I should just get that Dell and then a cheap 32" hdtv as well?

i have a 27'' 1080p monitor, it is fine, you can adjust the dpi to whatever size you want, i have the dpi very high and it looks fine to me, or you could just buy a tv card and stick it in your computer, they come with a remote control these days...
