Is there a clear leader for the best off-air (I think that’s the term?) picture?

I hope to purchase a projector for DVD viewing so I am mainly interested in a display for freeview.

    Budget is about £1500

I have the 32" Sammy with the built-in Freeview and I'm absolutely delighted with the picture quality. I think much depends on the source of the picture, so older TV shows look a little grainy and sometimes washed-out. However, a good quality broadcast picture looks superb (even though not in high-def).

I don't have a comparison to give with other sets - all I can do is give you my opinion on the one I own.

Incidentally, I also have a Sony Grand Wega 50" Rear Projection set and the PQ of the Sammy beats it hands-down!
