Best 28" widescreen

I want to get a widescreen tv (not digital) probably 28" - it is confusing as there are so many...

I like the Sony but it is most expensive. Toshiba seems good value with good reviews. Phillips and Goodmans and the like are cheap, but will they satisfy me?

I want to plug a PS2 a Digibox a vhs video and a dvd player into it - so how do i do all that - I need two rgb sockets or s-video right?

What I want is value for money - I am willing to pay a higher price if I feel I am getting a good deal.
Like I said you can get a cheaper brand like Samsung or Phillips or a more expensive brand like Sony - is the higher price worth it? That is what I wanna know.
