I've been asked by the in-laws to help them pick a new TV for the lounge and wanted some advice. They're restricted to a 26" screen as they want to keep their old style TV cabinet with sides and can't fit anything bigger in to it (They current have an old Panny 21" CRT) They primarily use Sky+ for their viewing and watch sport pretty much all day every day. They also have a DVD player and old Video which will also need to be connected. They've got no interest in paying the extra for Sky+ HD, having only just got Sky+. So I'm looking for the best 26" LCD TV for sport when displaying an SD input, with at least 2 scart leads and 2 HDMI's to make it as future proof as possible. Price isn't a decisive factor, but I'd like to get them something for under £400.
