The PC connection is my main reason for buying one, with VGA.
The HDMI may come in handy too.

The 2 i've been looking at are the Samsung LE26R74BDX and the Sony KDL-26S2010U.

Which is the better as regards to a VGA connection, and should i consider anything else ?

    Thanks.

I have a Samsung LE26R74BDX and have to say that the quality using the VGA connection is fantastic, good colour, crisp image etc. I find that when I use the VGA connection the quality of SD material is far superior to the SD material I get through the other connections, I guess this is due to the fact that the content is not processed by the TV and is upscaled by the PC.

The DVI input on the TV cannot be used for a PC connection for some reason :-( . The only resolutions that are supported by the display are: 640*480, 800*600, 1024*768 and 1360 * 768. Using any other resoultion results in a black screen.

Hope this helps a little bit.
