Tried to open Bento 2 last night to updsate a few work projects and start a few new ones, and I got an error message saying it could not open Bento.

Has anyone else had any problems since upgrading to SL?

When SL released Bento 2 wasn't compliant with it (Apple themselves pointed it out - Filemaker is an autonomous company). ISTR there was a maintenance release on v2 before they launched v3? And for the record v3 seems to many to be as buggy as hell...

So, no fix then :( apart from the upgrade to Bento 3?

I was going to upgrade anyway but I cant see a way of being able to do it if I cant even get Bento 2 to start, any ideas?

Its not a problem you can download the latest version from the Filemaker site and install that way, it's not necessary to upgrade from within the app.

Happy to help - you probably know it already as a Bento user but if not BentoUsers is a very useful resource. At the moment they are busy documenting the failures of v3 so you may want to hold off on upgrading :thumbsdow
