I was thinking of putting my benq pj in a cabinet as the table it was on keeps getting knocked by me dogs and kids, it has room around it so seems to be airy, would this be safe ?

I used to have one of these but had mounted on a high shelf.......can't quite remember but don't some PJs shut down ..or bring up temp warnings if they get too hot

you'll probably better off asking in the projector section

Looks to be front vented so shouldn't be a problem I would have thought

yep you are right been going for a few weeks now and doesn't get any hotter than being on top of a table, nest thing is how much quieter it is,John

I wouldn't do it, unless the cabinet is big enough to avoid heat build up. It might catch on fire?

seems ok air flow in from the left and out through the front , no hotter than before,John

Is the cabinet vented? If not, I imagine it will shorten the bulb life due to overheating.

my projector sits in a shell box mounted into the wall but I bring it out in a sliding shelf when I want to use it. always an option if you were concerned, you'd obvs need to modify your cabinet!
