    Hello,

I have had my Benq w1070 for a couple of weeks now. I have just ceiling mounted in a few days ago and since then can now hear an irregular fan noise, like a brum... brum... brum... (It may well of been there before, just didn't notice it). It is not particularly loud and only really hear it when the film is quiet but its quite annoying! Has anyone else found this or do I have a problem with my projector?

Like I say its no louder than I would expect but I would expect the fan to keep more of a constant hum.

    Thank you,
    Adam

I took delivery of mine today and have it ceiling mounted. Its very quiet with no fan noise at all. Have you got the high altitude mode on? This increases fan noise......might be worth trying.

mine was also very quiet to start with... it seems to have got a lot louder over the last two weeks. high altitude is off, thanks for the suggestion though.

Is yours ceiling mounted or on the floor. I dont know if turning it upside down can make it louder or maybe the ceiling is reflecting the noise more...

Mine is noisy but the drone is constant, yours sounds like a fan fault to me.
